Position Description Advanced Energy United is currently seeking a motivated, organized, highly capable candidate for an entry-level Office Operations Associate role based in our beautiful Washington, DC office. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations, this person will get broad exposure to operational areas of the Association.The ideal candidate will be a resourceful, reliable self-starter with a positive attitude and keen attention to detail. Day-to-day in this role will include receiving and distributing mail/packages; ensuring new hires in the DMV have access to the office; assisting with event logistics; supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable; depositing checks; receiving office visitors and other general administrative duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable support for our Finance team, including: Processing bills in Bill.com, ensuring receipts are submitted for corporate credit card purchases; & reconciling the credit card in Expensify
- Accounts Receivable support for our Finance team, including: Working with members to facilitate invoice payment, including supplier portal registrations; managing accounts receivable; following up on overdue invoices; and tracking status and communication
- New and existing employee office support
- Semi-weekly deposit of checks
- Act as office contact/ support
- Mail collection/distribution
- Office supply management
- Logistical support for events in the office
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must be able to work out of our DC office at a minimum of 2 days a week
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various members of the Operations team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency on Mac and PC platforms
- Attention to detail, pride in work, service-oriented
- Interest in Advanced Energy industry is a plus
