Summary
Capital Good Fund is seeking self-motivated individuals to support our Investor Relations department as the department and organization continue to grow. The Investor Relations department is responsible for stewarding relationships with funders, in particular investors, in all aspects of engagement from initial interest to investment. Good Fund funds its operations in three ways: loans to its loan fund, out of which it makes loans to its borrowers; loans in the form of “growth capital” to be used for operational expenses associated with scaling; and traditional philanthropic giving in the form of grants and donations. The role of the Investor Relations Associate is to work with Good Fund’s Director of Investments and SVP of Investor Relations to support in the administration of investment capital from banks, credit unions, community and family foundations, Registered Investment Advisors (and their clients), and high-net-worth individuals. Specifically, they will support in managing documentation related to relationship management and back-end tracking and processing of these investments, ensuring smooth internal operations across the department, as well as support with the department’s special projects as needed.

Training and Compensation
The Investor Relations Associate will receive extensive training on all of Capital Good Fund’s products, services, policies, procedures, and technology.
This is a contracted, 20-hour per week position. During the contracted period of 4 months, the Investor Relations Associate will earn $15,000.
Any offer of employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Investment Diligence
Support Creditor Diligence
- Support the SVP and Director in creating materials needed for Investor Diligence
- Create data rooms and document sharing
- Support in compiling and providing documents as required by creditors, including financials, organizational documents, internal manuals/policies, data or impact reports, and any other materials required by investors to diligence potential investments
- Organize internal documentation related to new lead generation and outreach
- Manage internal notes and documentation for new funder leads related to capital raising
- Coordinate with the Development team as needed to coordinate efforts around funder engagement
- Support with researching new leads to determine alignment
Lead debt-related reporting
- Track deadlines and requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including financial reporting, impact reporting, and other reporting required by creditors
- Maintain accurate and thorough internal systems and tracking related to creditor reporting
- Coordinate reporting requirements with other departments, ensuring timeline requests for new data/information needed to complete reporting
- Ensure all data related to creditor reporting is in Salesforce and is complete
- Analyze data needed to complete all creditor impact/demographic related reports
- Compile information across Good Fund’s data systems (accounting, Salesforce, Monday.com) to compile and coordinate responding to all creditor reporting inquiries
- Raise reporting trends/challenges to the Director of Investments and SVP of Investor Relations
- Ensure complete and accurate data is in Salesforce.com at all times related to creditor reporting and data needs
Investment processing
- Support with legal drafting and documentation related to debt for new programs
- Process, file, organize, and track documentation for each investment, ensuring accurate and complete documentation at all times
- Ensure proper updates to internal systems, such as Salesforce, Monday.com, etc
- Oversee investor/creditor payments, ensuring accurate and on-time payments
- Track and manage investment maturity and work with leadership to conduct outreach plan regarding potential rollovers/extensions
- Draft, maintain, and facilitate execution of any investment related documentation
- Support with communications and correspondence and provide general customer service to all Good Fund and entity investors
- Support in drafting content for webinars, emails, newsletters, etc
- Have excellent writing and analytical skills
- Be highly detail-oriented
- Degree in Business or Finance and have at least 2 years of professional experience, preferably with a non-profit or CDFI
- Have a deep understanding of impact and financial concepts
- Be highly proficient in the use of Excel
- Have high-level analytical skills, with the ability to analyze unique data and understand trends, ensuring clean and accurate information
- Have a high level of problem solving skills
- Be inquisitive, have a desire to learn new tools and methods
- Be highly flexible and adaptable
- Be deeply committed to serving under-resourced communities
- Be comfortable reading and interpreting financial statements such as a balance sheet
- Experience with a CRM, ideally Salesforce
- 2-5 years of experience in investment management, finance, or nonprofit finance
