Agog, a groundbreaking nonprofit organization at the intersection of technology, communications, and social impact, is seeking an organized and experienced Program Manager to join our team.
We’re looking for a Program Manager to manage and foster our cohort of grantees and other partners.
Reporting to the Chief of Programs and Strategy, the Program Manager will support the team across the grantmaking, sponsorships and cross-functional initiatives.
US-based remote role with a preference for candidates based in Seattle, LA, or the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate Agog’s new and ongoing grants, ensuring they are aligned with focus areas and strategies
- Communicate with current and potential grantees
- Solicit, review, and analyze grant proposals
- Coordinate with family office grants management team
- Communicate grant status and findings internally and externally, including creation of case studies or open source learnings
- Identify grantmaking risks and mitigate against them
- Maintain grant files, including contact management, grant status, and reporting
- Manage incoming pipeline of potential grantees (with input from other Agog staff)
- Manage sponsorships
- Manage support for affiliated organizations and their grantees
- Key contributor to events/programming efforts, with a focus on programming for grantees and grantees of Agog-related sibling entities
- Represent Agog at select industry events
- Contribute to Agog brain trust and participate in cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- Deep experience with immersive media and storytelling
- Extended reality (XR) expertise
- Understanding of issues of relevant to Agog’s grantmaking, including climate justice, food justice, Indigenous knowledge, or human rights, preferred but not required
- Ability to come up to speed on grants processes, but previous grantmaking experience not required
- Proven communication and presentation skills, with the ability to actively participate in or lead group meetings
- Proficient in Google Workspace and experience using an online database preferred
- Agile mindset and the ability to work quickly and creatively
$150,000 - $175,000 a year
