About InReach
We are InReach, a trans-led tech nonprofit building the world’s first open source verified LGBTQ+ resource platform. InReach is available on web (desktop and mobile), native iOS, and Android. Our vision is to ensure every trans and queer person has on-demand access to the safe resources they need to thrive. Over 420,000 people have used InReach to access verified LGBTQ+ resources.
About the Role
As a Partnerships Intern, you are not just supporting our outreach efforts. You are a vital part of expanding InReach’s reach and real-world impact. Our Partnerships Interns help build and strengthen relationships with the community organizations, service providers, and public institutions that make the InReach platform possible. We deeply value the time, skills, and lived experience each intern brings, and your work will directly shape how trans and queer people discover and access safe, affirming resources.
Through your outreach and partnership-building efforts, you will help connect:
- LGBTQ+ families fleeing hostile states to relocation assistance, legal support, mental health care, and gender-affirming services.
- LGBTQ+ young people experiencing isolation and housing insecurity to safe housing, food access, drop-in centers, and affirming community spaces.
- LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees, and other immigrants to verified legal services, trauma-informed mental health care, and language-accessible support.
- Transgender and gender-nonconforming (TGNC) people to gender-affirming healthcare, support groups, legal aid, safe housing, and more.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community partnerships, nonprofit outreach, and LGBTQ+ and trans justice work while helping grow the reach of a critical, trans-led technology platform.
