Responsibilities include:

• Providing the executive team with business insights, analysis, budgeting, operational planning and options, as well as support for vision setting and strategic direction.
• Leading innovation and identifying growth opportunities across verticals
• Working with HR to ensure staff efficiency, retention and growth, which includes working with department heads and team leaders to manage capacity, guide professional development and facilitate internal communications among verticals/departments.
• Working with the Executive Team to create, communicate, and implement overall strategic direction.
• Working directly with the Operations Manager and CFO to ensure capacity and revenue projections are accurate
• Managing capacity utilization, including strategic, non-billable activities
• Ensuring monthly invoicing and time entry across all clients are accurate
• Working as an inter-agency leader and communicator
• Supporting department leaders to facilitate execution of strategic plan
• Supporting large sales and business development efforts by leading select prospects and proposals from start to finish
• Supporting large/select clients and services as needed or desired
• Generating leads through speaking, writing, and networking
• Managing execution of quarterly newsletter and thought pieces
• Speaking on behalf of BattleAxe at industry conferences or other events.
• Attending industry conferences and networking events.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Salary Commensurate with Experience

Must live in Washington DC and be willing to travel quarterly
