BattleAxe Digital is a women-owned and run full-service digital agency that integrates cutting-edge tactics with scroll-stopping creative to power an impact that wins. BattleAxe is looking for new team members who are passionate about creating and managing results-driven digital programs for progressive candidates, organizations, and causes.

Salary Range: $68,000 - 70,000/yr in addition to post-election bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build responsive web pages and landing pages.
• Maintain and update website content.
• Design and produce graphics across digital mediums — including digital ads, social media, and occasional print.
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams on a wide range of materials.
• Oversee creative projects from start to finish.

Qualifications and skill set:

• 4+ years of experience in a design or web-focused UX/UI creative role.
• A portfolio that shows talent, creativity, and vision.
• Experience designing and styling for web and understanding responsive design and accessibility.
• Expert in HTML & CSS
• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms.
• Proficient skills in at least two of the following mediums: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take and apply feedback constructively.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new design and web technologies.

Bonus skills we would love to have:

• Experience with building email templates
• Experience with NGP, Action Kit, and ActBlue
• Familiarity with JavaScript and basic front-end interactivity
