The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music seeks a part-time Registrar & Operations Specialist as front-of-house staff at 58 7th Avenue, serving as a primary liaison with onsite students/clients. The role requires exemplary customer service, multitasking, and strong verbal/interpersonal communication skills. In-person only. Compensation: $27–$31/hour; part-time employees receive PTO/holidays and 403(b) eligibility. Required Fall/Spring hours: Sunday 10:30 AM–6:30 PM; Monday 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. Responsibilities include registration (student communications, payment processing, scheduling, policy enforcement, reporting), registration system setup/maintenance, records accuracy, enrollment/tuition reporting, reception/phones/mail, room schedules and rentals, facilities support, opening/closing, and assisting with events. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; strong administrative/organizational/customer service skills; attention to detail; excellent communication; positive, hands-on attitude; emotional intelligence; discretion with sensitive information; Microsoft Office/Google Drive proficiency; experience with registration or room rental systems a plus; passion for music/arts education a plus; Spanish a plus.
