Part-time Suzuki Flute Instructor to join BKCM’s Suzuki program. Weekly schedule primarily on Sundays (within 9 AM–6 PM), with possible expansion to a second day based on enrollment for the 2026–2027 academic year. Pay rates (2025–2026): $58.25/hour for private lessons, $62.50/hour for group/theory, $40/hour for meetings/prep. Responsibilities include teaching private, group, and theory classes; a 15-hour Parents’ Class; planning curricula; preparing students for recitals/performances; attending paid faculty meetings; timely admin/communication; and supporting DEI frameworks. Qualifications: Bachelor of Music or similar; active SAA member with at least units 1–4 registered (SPA/Practicum ideal or planned); love of teaching children; attention to technical and musical detail; warmth and understanding for families; interest in music theory (Music Mind Games a plus).
