Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) has been using the power of law since 1989 to protect the environment, promote human rights, and ensure a just and sustainable society. With offices in Washington, DC, and Geneva, Switzerland, CIEL provides legal counsel, advocacy, policy research, and capacity building across various program areas including Climate & Energy, Environmental Health, and Fossil Economy. The organization also trains law students and fellows, having educated over 500 interns from 54 countries.
