Craft & Commerce (C&C) is an integrated media agency that connects growth science, media strategy, and modern measurement to help our partners create greater marketing impact and grow with confidence.

C&C is purpose-built to bring a marketer’s mentality to today’s dynamic media landscape. The result is an expert, senior-level team that approaches media not as an agency, but as a business stakeholder committed to one thing: helping our partners outshine the competition through smarter, more agile planning and buying. Our secret sauce is the marriage of marketing effectiveness science and business impact measurement, together guiding us in balancing brand and performance, and translating data into actionable media strategies and hands-on campaign management.

We are seeking a Media Financial Analyst to support the financial tracking and stewardship of pass-through media dollars across a portfolio of retail media campaigns. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a foundational understanding of media finance, budget management, and project tracking.

The Media Financial Analyst will be responsible for insertion order (IO) tracking, project management data entry, budget reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring media investments are accurately recorded, reconciled, and optimized to maximize effectiveness for both internal teams and clients.

And—at C&C—we treasure a candid, ask-the-right-questions, get-it-done attitude that’s at the heart of our fast-moving and collaborative team culture. We’re a flexible, balanced, self-driven workplace. The right candidate will join us remotely from a place that makes you happy.

Responsibilities

Financial Tracking & Budget Management

  • Track and manage insertion orders (IOs), ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with approved media budgets.
  • Monitor media spend commitments, pacing, and delivery, flagging discrepancies and ensuring adherence to planned investments.
  • Assist in budget forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation across multiple clients and campaigns.

Project & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within project management and financial tracking systems.
  • Ensure proper data entry for media billing, vendor invoices, and campaign spend reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with internal media and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Reconcile monthly media expenditures, ensuring consistency between planned budgets, actual spend, and vendor invoices.
  • Support the creation of financial reports and dashboards, providing visibility into media spend trends and budget utilization.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial audits related to media investments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with media planners, account managers, and finance teams to ensure seamless tracking and reporting of media dollars.
  • Support the development of best practices for budget reconciliation and financial process improvements.
  • Assist in the standardization of budget tracking workflows and documentation to improve efficiency across teams.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations, with exposure to budget reconciliation, financial reporting, or insertion order tracking.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial tracking tools; experience with media billing platforms is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to track, analyze, and reconcile large sets of financial data.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience handling multiple financial workflows simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
