Data Science and Public Policy at CMU has the mission to further the use of data science/ML/AI in public policy research and practice. Our work includes educating current and future policymakers, doing data science projects with government, nonprofit, academic, and foundation partners, and developing new methods and open-source tools that support and extend the use of data science for public policy and social impact.
