<div>The mission of the Black Leadership Council (BLC) is to meaningfully engage and strengthen the Black communities presence and participation within the Democratic Party through fundraising, strategic planning, and coalition building in order to help elect Democrats and support critical Democratic Party programs. The Black Leadership Council plays an integral part of the Democratic National Committee and is a crucial vehicle for outreach and fundraising for the Democratic Party.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The Black Leadership Council Finance Director is responsible for creating and implementing a Black community focused finance plan and leads the execution of principal and surrogate involvement and fundraising in the Black community. The Black Leadership Council Finance Director is also responsible for identifying, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with top donors as well as planning and executing fundraising events. Applicants must be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have political campaign experience.</div>
