Proactive and dynamic human resources professional sought as a key member of the Human Resources team. A successful incumbent works with operational effectiveness and discretion to address human resources matters, ensure HR best practices, special projects, compliance, and data analytics. The HR Generalist will perform professional level duties in the following functional areas: employee relations, compliance, data analysis, and HRIS management. This position collaborates closely with IT, Security, Operations, and other DNC departments.
What we are looking for:
- A team player with a can do attitude that loves diving into projects with curiosity and enthusisam
- A customer service minded colleague ensuring timely and friendly responses to staff
- Ability to remain flexible and nimble with ever changing projects and something about the fast-pace of campaigns
- A collaborative partner with at least 4 years of expertise in one of the following issues areas:
- 1) Payroll and Benefits;
- 2) HR Data and analytics, reporting, and HRIS system maintenance;
- 3) Employee Relations, Training, and Performance Management;
- 4) Compliance and State Taxes;
- 5) Talent, Recruiting, and Onboarding
Who you are:
- A human resources professional with a dedication to discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy
- Exeperience or familiarity with Lever, Zendesk, Monday.com, Quickbase, or UKG, OR the ability to quickly and proactively learn new systems
- Strong communication skills across multiple media including power points, memos, policies and procedures, and public speaking
- Comfort with navigating difficult conversations to a successful outcome
Salary: The starting salary for the HR Generalist position is $72,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for overtime wages. This position requires up to 5% travel both in the Washington, D.C. area and across the country to attend and support meetings and events.
