he Finance Operations Associate assists the Director of Finance Operations and works with other Finance Operations Associates to manage tracking, reviewing, and editing briefing materials for finance events with both internal and external principals and surrogates. The Finance Operations Associate works closely with each regional and coalition fundraising team to ensure each briefing memo meets the standards of surrogates and principals headlining the events. The Finance Operations Associate also travels across the country and occasionally staffs major donor fundraising events.
This position is based in Washington, DC. The applicant must be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have political campaign experience.

In this position you will (Responsibilities/Duties):

  • Review briefing materials for internal and external surrogates and principals for finance events.
  • Manage team-wide trackers and spreadsheets to keep track of event needs and paper materials.
  • Update daily reports.
  • Travel and staff finance events as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the department.

What we will look for (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 1-2 years campaign or political committee experience.
  • Experience staffing major donor fundraising events highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of NGP database is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Precise attention to detail and strong copy editing skills.
  • Error-free written communications.
  • Ability to work and build relationships with leaders, staff, and members at all levels.
  • Travel may be required.

The Finance Operations Associate position will require travel, which could be up to 30% of the time.
The starting salary for the Finance Operations Associate position is $51,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek, and has an end date of November 15, 2024.
