Job Title: State Legislative Finance Program Manager
Reports to: Finance Director
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000/annually, generous benefits package
Location: Madison or Milwaukee, WI (Please note: Employment with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin requires residence or willingness to relocate to the state of Wisconsin.)
Start date: March 2024

The Opportunity: As the State Legislative Finance Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our robust fundraising strategy for the 2024 election cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and run the fundraising efforts of DPW as they relate to the State Legislative Program including running a call time program, and acting as the liaison between various partners involved in the effort.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and run a call time program with DPW’s major partners in an effort to raise for the state legislative program.
- Staff principal call time.
- Act as a liaison between various partners organizations that are fundraising into the state legislative program effort.
- Coordinating with PAC/Labor consultant when appropriate.
- Work with the DPW Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director to make sure state legislative fundraising efforts are in coordination with the department’s goals as a whole.
- Coordinating operational processes including compliance.
- Manage direct reports in all aspects of their work and support their success in the role by conducting relevant coaching conversations, providing and receiving feedback, and creating an inclusive and engaging team culture. More specific tasks could include but are not limited to:
- Managing and reviewing time off requests
- Hiring new team members
- Having constructive conversations with team members on performance
- Building rapport and trust within your team
- Leading projects and delegating tasks
- On year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election-preparation as necessary.

- Fundraising Experience - At least one cycle of fundraising experience
- Knowledge of Fundraising Tools - In-depth understanding and proficiency in utilizing fundraising platforms such as NGP and ActBlue.
- Experience staffing a principal
- 1-2 years political experience
