Job Title: Digital Associate (Social)
Reports to: Deputy Digital Director, Content
Salary: $5,000/month or $60,000 annualized, generous benefits package
Location: Madison or Milwaukee, WI (Please note: Employment with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin requires residence or willingness to relocate to the state of Wisconsin.)
Start date: Summer 2024

The Opportunity: As a Digital Associate (Social), you will lead the content production process for the Coordinated Campaign’s social media channels. Working with the Deputy Digital Directors, you will proactively identify trends, draft content, schedule posts, and report on our successes. Your sense of what’s trending will be key to helping the Coordinated Campaign break through the noise and connect with voters from all walks of life.

Job Responsibilities:
- Take the first draft of social content for the Coordinated Campaign’s social media channels
- Leverage engagement data to inform campaign strategy regarding content and platforms
- Ensure consistency in tone and quality for all aspects of the campaign’s digital presence
- Work with the Deputy Digital Directors to maintain the internal content calendar
- Attend in-person events to collect video and photo content
- On year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election-preparation as necessary

- Experience developing + executing social media strategies for public accounts

- Graphic design and video editing experience are not required, but highly desirable
- Excellent organization skills - Can track a high volume of tasks at different stages of development without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Experience producing content for or organizing within communities of diverse backgrounds.
