GLSEN is a national organization founded in 1990 that champions LGBTQ issues in K-12 education. It works to ensure that LGBTQ students can learn and grow in a safe and affirming environment, free from bullying and harassment. GLSEN achieves this through a network of educators, students, and local chapters, advocating for comprehensive policies, inclusive curricula, and supportive educators. With over 1.5 million members and more than 500,000 resources downloaded annually, GLSEN is a leader in promoting safe schools and fostering a culture of respect for all students, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
