About the Role:

The Senior Copywriter will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling, clear, and persuasive content that effectively communicates our brand message across multiple platforms. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex ideas into engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. The Senior Copywriter will collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to develop creative concepts and deliver high-quality copy that drives customer engagement and supports business objectives. This role demands a deep understanding of brand voice, audience targeting, and content optimization to ensure consistency and impact. Ultimately, the Senior Copywriter will be responsible for elevating the company’s communication efforts and contributing to the overall success of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or corporate marketing environment.
  • Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and error-free copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice development and content strategy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEO best practices and digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a range of writing styles and successful campaigns.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write clear, persuasive, and original copy for various marketing materials including websites, emails, social media, advertisements, and print collateral.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, design, and product management to create cohesive and effective messaging strategies.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Conduct research and stay informed about industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform content creation.
  • Mentor junior copywriters and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of the team’s output.

The Senior Copywriter uses their advanced writing and editing skills daily to produce compelling content that aligns with strategic marketing goals. Strong research abilities enable them to understand target audiences and industry trends, ensuring relevance and engagement in all communications. Collaboration skills are essential as they work closely with designers, marketers, and product teams to develop integrated campaigns. Pay range expected for the position: $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
