What is a Pod?

A Pod is a dedicated cross functional team aligned around a defined group of clients. Pods bring together Client Partners, Account Management, Direct Mail, Digital Strategy, Media, Creative, Production, Data, and Delivery resources to collaboratively plan, execute, and optimize client work. The Pod model promotes accountability, collaboration, efficiency, and stronger client outcomes.

The Pod Delivery Manager is the operational leader of the pod, responsible for connecting people, processes, and workflows to ensure client work is delivered efficiently, consistently, and on time. This role drives delivery excellence through planning, workflow management, resource coordination, risk mitigation, and cross functional alignment. The Pod Delivery Manager enables teams to execute effectively while improving operational efficiency, scalability, and client outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivery Leadership

  • Own the overall delivery health and performance of assigned pod(s).
  • Ensure projects, campaigns, and deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
  • Manage priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and team accountability.
  • Provide visibility into project status, delivery performance, and operational risks.

Workflow & Operational Management

  • Own and optimize end to end workflow management across the pod.
  • Improve processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and drive operational consistency.
  • Coordinate work across departments to ensure seamless execution and handoffs.
  • Support execution planning and prioritization of work.

Resource & Capacity Planning

  • Forecast workload and identify resource constraints.
  • Partner with department leaders to align staffing and capacity with business needs.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining delivery commitments.
  • Recommend solutions to mitigate delivery risks and resource challenges.

Cross Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the operational hub connecting strategy, planning, execution, and production.
  • Facilitate communication, collaboration, and alignment across all pod functions.
  • Ensure teams have the information and support needed to execute successfully.
  • Resolve operational challenges and remove barriers to delivery.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify and mitigate workflow, delivery, and operational risks.
  • Drive issue resolution and accountability across teams.
  • Monitor key delivery metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, operations, workflow management, agency delivery, or production management.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent years’ experience.
  • Experience managing complex cross functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift timelines.
  • Experience with project and workflow management platforms such as Workfront, Asana, Jira, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic operational thinking.
  • Experience in direct mail, digital marketing, media, or campaign delivery environments preferred.

LOCATION: Remote. Occasional travel.

Pay range expected for the position: $75,000 to $90,000 annually.
