The Role
We are seeking a Chief of Staff to the Founder of Human Agency. This role will work closely with the Founder and executive team, providing strategic and operational support to drive the company's mission forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, project management, and organizational development. This role requires exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a high degree of adaptability.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist the Founder in developing and executing strategic initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to drive organizational goals.
- Managing Up: You are the wrangler of our c-suite leadership team, especially our founder. You will oversee scheduling, travel booking, dynamic deliverables, support deck and presentation development, and be completely comfortable with ad hoc requests.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage key projects from inception to completion. Ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the Founder and internal/external stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and provide analysis on industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for meetings. Ensure productive and efficient use of meeting time.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Considerations:

Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in strategic planning, project management, or organizational development.
- Proven track record in a leadership role.
Travel: Open to traveling 10-30% of the time, as needed for the role.
Educational Background: Considerations include bachelor's degree, advanced degree, and/or relevant field(s) of study or professional experience.
