Overview:

IfNotNow is a multiracial, multiethnic, cross-class movement of Jews organizing our community to end US support for Israel’s apartheid system and call for equality, justice, and a thriving future for all Palestinians and Israelis. Over the last ten years, our movement has transformed the Jewish community and US politics, fighting for a vision of shared safety and freedom for all - one where Jewish safety doesn’t come at the expense of others, but is intertwined with the liberation of all people.

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and highly motivated Campaign Director (CD) to lead a campaign arc through December 2028 that builds Jewish communal support for blocking US weapons to Israel, and translates Jewish communal organizing into political power. The ideal candidate has a deep stake in our issue area, knowledge of both the progressive Jewish and Palestinian freedom movement ecosystems, and has experience in electoral and/or advocacy campaigning. The CD is a key member of IfNotNow’s Leadership Team, working closely with the Executive Director (ED), Chief of Staff (COS) and Field Organizing Director (FOD) to shape and guide the organization’s long-term strategic vision. The CD will help lead overall strategic planning and be the day-to-day lead on coordinating and executing IfNotNow’s strategic work, with a focus on long-term power building within the multiracial Jewish community.

  • Represent the Organizing, Comms, and Digital departments - as well as the broader movement of volunteer leaders - within the Leadership Team, ensuring their voices and perspectives are heard and integrated into decision-making.

  • Co-lead the Department Heads Team with the ED to support the organization’s overall culture and strategy, set programmatic goals and priorities, and deepen the organization’s commitment to volunteer leadership, multiracial and cross-class organizing, and long-term sustainability.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Play a key role in building and sustaining partnerships with progressive partners, Members of Congress, and press to advance campaign strategy.

  • Work with the ED to identify new partnership opportunities that advance the organization’s strategic goals and amplify campaigns.
