Summer 2025 Internships - Policy & Organizing
Interfaith Alliance
Throughout the year, Interfaith Alliance hosts an internship program to offer the chance to explore the intersection of religion and policy and make a meaningful contribution to the pro-democracy movement in the United States. Interns are assigned a specific role (e.g. organizing, policy, communications, development) but also support cross-functional projects for the organization. Interns will have weekly learning opportunities as a cohort.
For Summer 2025, we have two positions available. Applications are due by March 7, 2025. The internship program starts June 10, 2025 and ends on August 22, 2025.
Interfaith Alliance internships are paid at a rate of $18/hour for undergraduate students and $25/hour for graduate-level students. The internships can be full or part-time based on the applicant’s availability. Application to the Internship Program is competitive, and an on-going interest in religion and public policy is strongly recommended. The internship program is based in Interfaith Alliance’s Washington, D.C. headquarters and requires working in-person 2-3 days a week (contingent on schedule). Fully remote internships will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must have strong interpersonal, writing, and computer skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks and take initiative; and strong organizational skills.
Applicants for the Organizing Intern position should have previous organizing experience. Familiarity with EveryAction is recommended but not required.
