Legion is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Director to lead and execute field operations for our diverse portfolio of political campaigns in a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing field teams, developing and implementing effective campaign strategies, and achieving measurable results.

About Us:

Legion is an award winning, history-making outreach consultancy specializing in non-traditional boots on the ground and phone outreach. From sales outsourcing to public pressure campaigns, we deploy canvassers and callers to identify, interact, and influence. Legion’s team hails major victories from COVID-19 frontline outreach, rolling out the nation’s largest curbside composting program, and deep canvassing in political swing districts. From phonebanking, surveying, persuasion, door-to-door canvassing, street canvassing, petitioning, flyering, tabling, we do it all. Rapidly scaling up and down, Legion’s hiring pipeline has been automated to a point of ruthless efficiency, while maintaining human oversight.

But all that success and optimization is gravy. Legion’s truly unique advantage is our combined might: marrying military discipline, Fortune 500 Tactics, and political savvy. We create and maintain agile and disciplined operatives at every level who can work a political campaign one month, then a real estate persuasion or corporate sales project the next.

That’s why unions, politicians, government agencies, developers, hotels, and even movie theaters all trust Legion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive field plans: Create detailed plans for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and outreach activities that align with campaign goals and objectives.

  • Build and maintain relationships: Establish and foster strong relationships with community leaders, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure the campaign has broad support and engagement.

  • Monitor budget and resources: Manage the field budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and in alignment with campaign priorities.
  • Represent the firm: Interact with clients and candidates as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in paid canvassing organizing, campaign management, or related roles.
