Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Enterprise Architect for a contract position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and vision for a system of AI-powered software applications. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, enterprise security, and data governance. You will oversee the high-level design of all systems, ensuring that the platform is robust, scalable, and aligned with project goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Architectural Leadership: You will provide a clear technical vision and strategic guidance for the entire platform, defining the architectural principles and overall design.
• System Design: You will design the multi-layered architecture, including the core data, AI/ML, and application layers, ensuring they are cohesive and extensible.
• Technology Stack: You will define and oversee the implementation of the platform's cloud-native technology stack, leveraging services for data processing, AI/ML, and application hosting.
• Security & Governance: You will be responsible for designing and enforcing security and data governance policies, including access controls, data segregation, and compliance requirements.
• Technical Oversight: You will collaborate with engineering leads to ensure that all development work aligns with the architectural design and best practices.
• Documentation: You will create detailed architectural diagrams and design documents for all core infrastructure components.

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience: Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or in a similar senior technical leadership role
• Foundational Knowledge: Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, enterprise security, data management, and the full machine learning lifecycle
• Cloud Platforms: Extensive, hands-on experience designing and building solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to design solutions for complex, multi-layered systems
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to guide and mentor a technical team
