About the Role
Middle Seat is seeking a Project Manager to support our TV Department, with a focus on coordinating linear paid media campaigns, managing timelines, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration between internal teams, vendors, and clients.
This role is ideal for a highly organized project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys keeping complex workstreams on track, and can act as a connective tissue between creative, strategy, and execution teams. While this role will work closely with TV-focused staff, prior TV consulting experience is not required.
Job Responsibilities
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage timelines, deliverables, budget, and workflows for paid media campaigns, with a primary focus on TV projects
- Create and maintain project plans, calendars, and status trackers
- Ensure deadlines are met across multiple concurrent projects and clients
- Flag risks, delays, or resource constraints early and proactively
Cross-Team Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination among TV strategists, production teams, vendors, and clients
- Facilitate internal check-ins, status meetings, and handoffs
- Ensure clear communication of expectations, next steps, and priorities
Client & Stakeholder Support
- Support client communications related to timelines, approvals, and deliverables
- Track feedback and ensure revisions and approvals stay on schedule
- Help prepare materials for client presentations or campaign updates
Process Improvement
- Help document and refine project management processes within the TV Department
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and collaboration
- Support scaling systems during high-volume periods (e.g., election cycles)
Administrative & Ad Hoc Support
- Maintain organized documentation for campaigns and projects
- Assist with vendor coordination, invoicing workflows, or asset tracking as needed
- Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Experience working on political electoral campaigns
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working cross-functionally with creative, strategy, and client-facing teams
- Proficiency with common project management and collaboration tools (Asana, Airtable, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
Strongly Preferred but Not Required
- Experience in operations or coordination roles
- Deep familiarity with political messaging and media
- Experience supporting creative production timelines
