Who you are:
The Research Analyst will be responsible for supporting data collection and insight generation, project managing relevant research and data projects, and managing backend data processes and systems, including ensuring proper documentation. The Research Analyst will also liaise with different teams at NDWA to respond to requests for research and data support.
What you’ll do:

Generate insights from domestic worker data, including survey and engagement data

Create and support the presentation of research insights in internal or external reports, data visualizations, dashboards, oral presentations and research dissemination

Collaborate in the process of survey data collection, from survey design to survey rollout, data extraction, and processing

Maintain and manage La Alianza’s data pipeline within Civis Platform

Propose and create relevant internal documentation and reporting processes, including dashboards, reports, and help documents

Propose and implement automated reporting processes using R, Python, SQL, Tableau, and any other relevant tools

Perform background research on external data and analyses to incorporate into our strategy, research questions, and reports

Manage research and data projects and develop processes that contribute to departmental goals, including projects that improve survey methodology, data governance, and streamline data processes.

Liaise with other teams within NDWA to support their research and data needs

When needed, supervise research assistants or other short-term consultants
Skills you bring:

At least 2 years of relevant experience in social science research and data analysis.

Demonstrated skill in at least 2 relevant statistical software platforms and/or coding languages (e.g. R, Python, SQL)

Experience managing complex data, running queries, deriving actionable insights, and producing compelling visualizations

Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional, technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong project management skills and entrepreneurial spirit

Knowledge of social movements and role of data in policy making and advocacy

Demonstrated commitment to NDWA mission and vision

Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
