We leverage digital tools from Facebook Messenger, SMS, email, Instagram and TikTok to provide timely, relevant parenting news and advocacy opportunities that matter to families.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This full-time, remote position is focused on producing, QAing, and analyzing the performance of mobile messaging campaigns through a variety of mediums, including text messages, emails and Facebook & Instagram Messenger chatbot flows, in order to grow and engage our rapidly expanding community of parents.
Youll be a great fit for this role if youre able to easily learn and use new tech platforms, youre very detail- and logic-oriented, and you love using data to figure out how to create a better experience for digital audiences. While your skills are technically oriented, you have a passion for social justice and equity; you want to be part of a team that shares that commitment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, youll provide critical production support for our ParentsTogethers various digital content channels. This includes, but is not limited to:
Production Support
Upload content and build interactive flows in our Messenger bot platform (Chatfuel), SMS, email and petition platforms; our flows might include petition actions, activity ideas for kids, or requests for personal stories we can leverage for advocacy
Apply our data tagging system so that we can track user behavior, run tests, and improve our user experience across all platforms
Respond quickly to rapid requests for content builds on Slack or Trello
Support our teams as they design new experiences for campaigns
Assist in building, cloning and deploying ad campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager
Suggest improvements to our process, tagging, and flows based on project goals
Set up, run and collect metrics for A/B tests
QA Support
QA Messenger, SMS, email and ad experiences on various devices; ensure flows match the expected experience to the letter, verify audience targeting, and check the data tagging happening on the back end
Ability to detect, report, and quickly troubleshoot bugs
Respond quickly to requests for QA on Slack or Trello
Use Trello, Slack, and Google Sheets to track and communicate progress
QA ad campaigns set up in Facebook Ads Manager
Analytics
Measure and report on user behavior in Messenger, SMS, email, ad and petition platform flows; track click rates, blocks, unsubscribes, and other relevant engagement metrics
Streamline reporting so that we can draw conclusions about where to focus our efforts and what to build next
QUALIFICATIONS
You might be a great fit for this role if you have:
One to three years of experience preferable
Expertise with digital media platforms, including digital content production
An interest in messaging platforms, SMS, email, digital ads or bots
The aptitude to quickly figure out tech platforms or web apps (a technical/coding background is not required, but you should be able to quickly learn new tools and teach yourself tech skills)
Very strong attention to detail and excellent quality assurance skills
Familiarity with digital analytics processes, metrics collection and reporting
An analytic mindset: you can isolate the key results and learnings from an experiment, and present to the wider team
An entrepreneurial spirit: Youre an exceptional problem solver who gets things done
DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Remote/flexible - Schedule and geography are flexible as long as you are generally available 12 PM - 5 PM ET on most weekdays.
Benefits include health insurance (with cost-share for dependents) for employees working > 75% time, three weeks of vacation (plus holidays and the last week of the calendar year off), paid family and sick leave, retirement match after four months on staff, and a FSA account. This position is considered exempt.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
