In 2024, Relentless is running a first-of-its-kind compensated relational program at scale across battleground states using Rally. This program will hire 20,000+ low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and turn their friends and families out to vote.

Relentless is hiring a Data Director to lead the Data Solutions team for our 2024 National Program. We are looking for someone who can coordinate and manage all data operations for our program, from cutting recruitment lists to managing automated data flows. You will also be responsible for leveraging data to validate our strategies and improve the impact of the other program teams.

Details & Compensation:

Location: Remote

Compensation: $10,500 per month

Benefits: 100% employer-paid health and life insurance, 99% employer-paid dental and vision insurance

Schedule: Full-time through December 31, 2024

Job Duties:

  • Owning and managing the data operations of our 2024 program, including managing the Data Solutions team
  • Work flexibly and creatively to solve data problems and create solutions that allow us to recruit, hire, manage, and pay 20,000+ low-propensity voters.
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Director to determine recruitment targets and build effective processes for analysis of recruitment tactic ROI, work with Recruitment Director to iterate processes based on data
  • Coordinate all data operations, from list cutting to maintaining and monitoring automated workflows.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to develop metrics, effective reporting, and data tools to ensure that the other program teams have the information they need to be successful.
  • Develop and implement systems to use data to validate our strategy across the different pillars of the program (e.g. recruitment, participant engagement).
  • Build and maintain a program data library, incorporating Rally data, voter file data, and data synced in from our tools (e.g. Strive, HubSpot).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working on campaigns, electorally-focused, or advocacy organizations, with at least one full cycle in a data-related role
  • Experience hiring and managing staff
  • Data and/or technical project management experience, including delegation, managing up and managing expectations for themselves and projects
  • Proficiency in SQL, including being able to use JOIN, GROUP BY, and aggregate functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively within teams and across departments, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • A solutions-oriented approach to challenges and ability to think creatively to solve unique problems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Google BigQuery a plus, but not required
