The Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund is building a broad and powerful base of popular support for equitable climate action, state by state. We do this by supporting the leadership and organizing of multiracial, working-class communities through deep and sustained funding, capacity-building, technical assistance, and donor advising—because climate progress is only durable when it creates economic and racial equity. A leader in climate philanthropy, the Equity Fund partners with community-based organizations in 14 states, matching our investments with expert policy analysis and narrative strategy in order to build local and state-wide power. Together, we are generating the momentum to win ambitious and equitable policies that address climate change and support a clean energy transition while advancing economic and racial justice.
