Status: Full-time; Exempt. This position is included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit; specific employment terms and conditions are subject to labor-management negotiations and a potential Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Salary: $85,000 - $91,000

Launched in 2016, The Hub Project is a nonprofit effort made up of a growing team of communications, research, and organizing experts with extensive experience in campaign strategy, digital, polling, and analytics. Position Summary

The Hub Project is seeking an Associate Director of Digital Partnerships to support our Trending Up campaign. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Digital Strategy and Partnerships and senior leadership to shape campaign strategy and programming, strengthen creator engagement, and expand short- and long-term partnerships that advance our advocacy goals.

The Associate Director of Digital Partnerships will serve as a strategic thought partner on creator recruitment, issue framing, and program development, while also helping execute in-person and virtual programming, including our annual Trending Up conference.

We’re looking for someone who understands the evolving digital landscape, follows emerging content trends, and is eager to explore new ways creators can influence public conversations and advance social causes.

As Associate Director of Digital Partnerships, you will,

  • Build relationships with stakeholders, coalition partners, and Hill staff in order to facilitate short- and longer-term creator and partnership advocacy programming.
  • Partner closely with Senior Director, Digital Strategy and Partnerships to shape overall campaign strategy, creator engagement models and platforms, and long-term year-round program growth for Trending Up.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner around creator recruitment, long-term program planning, issue framing, and program evolution.
  • Support the design and execution of creator programs across the organization, including in-person and virtual events, including our annual Trending Up conference, regular meetups, newsletter, social channels, activations, collaborations with other Hub Project campaigns and more.
  • Play a key role in the planning and execution of the annual Trending Up conference including, but not limited to staffing, programming, speakers, vetting, and creator recruitment and engagement.
  • Represent our digital and creator programs in internal and external meetings.
  • Support the department leadership with other strategic and operational tasks, and all other duties as assigned.

About you,

  • You’re passionate about the intersection of content creation, culture, and social impact, and stay up to date on digital trends, emerging platforms, and creator ecosystems.
  • You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in advocacy, organizing, creator, or campaign-related work.
  • You are highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re a strong collaborator who can also take ownership of projects from idea to execution.
  • You’re an effective communicator and convener, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are committed to progressive values and to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.

Benefits

Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (and their families). Employees are able to enroll in 401k retirement plan and are eligible for a 3% automatic contribution and up to a 3% employer match on 401k contributions. Employees are also eligible for pre-tax transportation benefits. Employees will receive 120 hours of vacation time, 80 hours of health leave, up to 2 days of casual leave, and 20 hours of volunteer leave annually. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are eligible for 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave after 90 days of employment.
