Summary

Pivot seeks an Account Associate to join our team ahead of the 2026 election cycle. This is a fully remote position in our Client Services Department.

Account Associates provide administrative support to senior staff. This role manages all internal admin work, including tracking and monitoring mail delivery. Strong candidates for this role are highly organized administrative professionals with previous experience working in fast-paced environments.

The Client Services staff work closely with Pivot’s Creative, Production and Targeting teams to develop unique direct mail strategies for our clients. Each member of our team brings diverse perspectives and unique expertise to make an impact in democratic campaigns and organizations across the country.

This is a full-time, temporary position through Election Day 2026 with competitive salary and excellent benefits. The nature of our business requires long hours during the election cycle, and we expect all staff to be flexible in this area. Weekend and evening work will be required. However, Pivot works to ensure all staff maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Qualifications

What you bring to the team:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop, adhere to, and communicate reasonable timelines.
  • Commitment to racial equity, social justice, and democratic causes.
  • Proven experience managing deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Special consideration will be given to candidates who also demonstrate:

  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Previous campaign experience is not required for this position.
  • Candidates with prior political experience should consider our Account Representative and Account Executive positions.

  • Track team progress and deadlines for all assignments.
  • Maintain organizational assets including internal databases.
  • Manage database to track large volume of shipments.
  • Monitor the creative and production process for multiple projects.
  • Communicate regularly with other teams and stakeholders to support an ever-changing workload.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position is set at $5,175 per month. There is also the opportunity for end of election bonuses, based off individual and firm performance. To ensure pay equity across our team, salaries are non-negotiable.

You will meet with 3 members of our team in a panel-style interview to discuss the position more in depth.

4. Reference Checks

For our final stage, we will ask you to provide contact info for 2-3 professional references.
