Overview: Zuri Group is looking for a Business Analyst to deliver expert business analysis and consulting services for both client engagements and internal development initiatives. In this role, you will lead and support projects that encompass the full scope of fundraising software systems. Your responsibilities will include driving business process improvements, configuring and customizing systems, developing reports and data visualizations, managing user acceptance testing, providing end-user training, overseeing deployment, and delivering post-launch support. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and promote organizational growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in discovery for project deliverables including software configuration, custom development, and integration. Record key decisions and business cases for project archive.
  • Analyze client needs and business processes. Identify functional and technical requirements needed to meet the client’s goals. Write specifications to guide development efforts that meet those goals.
  • Proactively provide recommendations and best practice advice on meeting goals through technical and functional solutions, including data visualization, software system configuration, customization, process improvement, and/or staff training.
  • Manage User Acceptance testing to ensure work product meets client requirements.
  • Educate and train clients on system functionality, offering users guidance to become proficient in use of new tools.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English sufficient to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and staff effectively and accurately through all levels of the agency.

Relevant Skills & Experience

  • 3-6 years of experience analyzing business processes, providing recommendations, and guiding technical and nontechnical teams in implementing changes.
  • 1-2 years of experience or level of proficiency with CRM systems; Blackbaud, Salesforce, and other technology.
  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
  • Drive to solve problems efficiently, creatively, and independently.
  • Demonstrated success in self-directed and outcome-oriented initiatives with a strong customer focus.
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders who have varying technical expertise.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organized with the ability to manage complex workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues for broader solutioning of client/project needs.
  • Knowledge sharing, including participating in the client community or mentoring/training colleagues.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in or related field; Business Admin, Non-Profit Admin, Business Analysis.
  • Experience with the BBCRM LO (Luminate Online), UCI Ascend or similar.
  • Experience working with large non-profit or higher education organizations, with knowledge of applicable fundraising and business processes.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or other task-management systems.
Salary range for this role is $83,000 to $99,000 per year, depending on experience.
