plus más media is looking for a highly organized and creative Associate to support the development and testing of new social media shows that connect with Gen Z and Millennial Latinos in the U.S
This role is perfect for someone with experience in content creation, entertainment production, and social media who is excited to be part of a growing team shaping the future of Latino digital media. The ideal candidate is both a creative thinker and a reliable doer—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can help bring show concepts to life from planning through execution. You’ll assist in the coordination of pre-production, filming, and post-production efforts, ensuring shows are ready to be tested and evaluated for long-term success.
Here’s what you could expect to do as Digital Media Associate, Show Producer (key responsibilities):
Strategic Development and Planning
Support the development, planning, and execution of entertainment shows designed to engage Gen Z and Millennial Latino audiences on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
Participate in creative brainstorms to generate and refine show ideas that are culturally relevant, engaging, and aligned with audience interests
Conduct research on trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors to inform show development and ensure ideas are optimized for performance
Help create internal documentation and pitch materials to present new show concepts for internal review and approval
Production Coordination and Execution
Assist with coordinating and maintaining pre-production, production, and post-production workflows and calendars to ensure smooth execution and timely content delivery across all phases
Support the logistics of show testing, including booking locations, managing casting schedules, and coordinating contracts and paperwork for freelancers and contractors
Contribute to the creative process by helping with tasks such as script formatting, storyboarding support, and organizing copy and concept documents
Collaborate with internal teams to keep projects moving forward, helping gather approvals and ensuring necessary resources are in place
Track project progress and flag any delays or challenges to the production lead to help keep timelines on track
Provide on-the-ground production support during filming days, helping manage logistics, troubleshoot issues, and keep production running smoothly
Assist in monitoring post-launch performance metrics and support the development of strategies in both English and Spanish to boost audience engagement
Communication and Collaboration:
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively conveying project statuses, ideas, and solutions to team members and stakeholders
Foster a collaborative environment where everyone involved feels encouraged to contribute and communicate openly
What We’re Looking For
2+ years experience managing and producing entertainment shows for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and digital content creation, product development, influencer networks, or communications and marketing
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with native-level Spanish speaking and writing skills required
Filming coordinator extraordinaire: Experience in coordinating filming or show production, with a preference for candidates familiar with environments like Los Angeles and New York
Organized, project management pro: Exceptional organizational, project management, and adaptability skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities while staying within budget and on time
Full-cycle content creator: Experience creating content from start to finish, including research, scripting, editing, and publishing, particularly for Gen Z and Millennial audiences
Content trendsetter: Highly motivated and creative, with a passion for fast-paced short form storytelling and enjoys learning about innovative content formats and trends
Clear and collaborative communicator: Strong communication skills, essential for engaging with all stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Deadline-driven and detail-focused: Skilled at prioritizing multiple projects, working in a fast-paced environment, meeting multiple deadlines and being detail-oriented
Data-informed content strategist Comfortable with analyzing data to inform and make content creation decisions
Independent and adaptable team player: Known for taking initiative and completing tasks, whether creative or technical. Comfortable working both independently and in collaboration with team members from diverse backgrounds. Adaptability to remote work with team members across the country and strong time management skills
Learning Mindset: Willingness to learn new technologies and tech tools, including Lean Startup methodology and experimentation
Eager to further develop editing skills: Hands-on experience with video editing tools and content production software (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar) is preferred, but not required
Benefits:
$48,000 - $60,000 salary range, with exact salary depending on experience and new staff rarely starting at the top of the range.
Flexibility for work and life: Unlike a lot of places, we actually believe that people should only work 40 hours each week, except for occasional sprints that require more time in a week. We also trust everyone to make a schedule that works for them, as long as you’re able to join all necessary meetings. Want to work more one day and less the next? Fine by us. Work better in the middle of the night than during the afternoon? Go for it. Need to shift your hours to be able to pick up your kid from school? All good.
