SMS Strategist
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee seeks a SMS Strategist to help execute a large and growing SMS fundraising program. This person will be an integral part of our Online Fundraising Team.

If you have experience in digital fundraising and want to play an integral role in strengthening an SMS program for a national committee, and help flip the Senate majority in the process, you will find a great home on our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and edit high-performing copy for DSCC and surrogate fundraising content.
  • Pitch content ideas in daily and weekly email meetings.
  • Take charge of creating voices for surrogate senders.
  • Track performance of content and implement learnings in subsequent drafts.
  • Produce, target, and checklist error-free SMS blasts.
  • Provide overflow drafting capacity as needed for ads, web properties, and more.
  • Complete other SMS projects as they arise to facilitate the overall success of the program.
Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in digital fundraising for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or firm.
  • Familiarity with SMS CRMs, Email CRMs or online organizing platforms.
  • Exceptional proofing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to maintain organizational skills in a fast paced environment.
The salary for this position is $70,000 annualized.
This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
This position requires in-person work at DSCC headquarters in Washington, DC.
