| Deputy Digital Advisor The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), the campaign committee dedicated to retaking the Democratic Senate majority, is hiring a Deputy Digital Advisor for the 2026 election cycle. The Deputy Digital Advisor will serve on the Campaign Services Team, working under the Senior Digital Advisor and in close partnership with the Senior Campaign Advisors. This is a critical role within the department that requires the routine exercise of discretion and independent judgment on significant issues, and so does require significant prior campaign experience including statewide campaign digital director or deputy director-level experience. This is not always a 9-6, M-F job and will require work outside of normal business hours. This position is based in Washington, DC and expected to regularly come into the DSCC office and may occasionally require travel throughout the cycle and travel to a battleground state for GOTV efforts ahead of Election Day. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as digital liaison with Senate campaign digital operations, and support the work of the DSCC’s Senior Digital Advisor, who is the lead digital liaison to U.S. Senate candidates and their campaigns. This can include: - Responsible for owning a portfolio of states and Senate races, providing the state appropriate advisement under the direction of the Senior Digital Advisor
- Under the direction of the Senior Digital Advisor, build relationships with campaign managers, digital directors, and stakeholders
- Provide digital guidance to Digital Directors and campaign teams on all things digital including: online fundraising, acquisition, organic social media, staffing
- Provide ongoing support for Digital Directors including advising on weekly campaign calls, holding weekly one-on-one check-ins, and providing templates, best practice guides, and other resources
- Help coordinate work of digital consultants, including review of proposals to ensure campaigns are receiving competitive rates and sound guidance
- Facilitate the flow of information from campaign digital teams to the Senior Digital Advisor and members of the Campaign Services Department
- Handle additional special projections and responsibilities
WORK EXPERIENCE - At least 2 cycles of on-the-ground campaign experience, including at least one cycle of Senate campaign work
- At least one cycle of experience as the Digital Director or Deputy Digital Director for a competitive statewide campaign
- At least one cycle of experience managing a multi-leveled team, containing both full-time staff and consultants
- Has successfully built an online finance plan and has firsthand experience communicating projections to stakeholders
- Experience with principal/candidate management, including giving direct feedback about the digital program
- Deep understanding of the digital mechanics of campaigns: staffing a team; managing internal and external digital partners, consultants, tools, and vendors; cross-department collaboration to build content programs across various platforms; building online fundraising programs, effective acquisition strategies, and maintaining accurate projections; experience in digital paid media programming; and familiarity working with other department heads, especially finance teams
