Deputy Email Director

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is looking to hire a Deputy Email Director to help manage a large and active grassroots email fundraising program. You will be responsible for reviewing produced email copy, acting as a final quality assurance check on email sends, and updating an email calendar for a large-scale testing program. This person will be an integral part of our email team and this role will include staff oversight responsibilities.

If you are passionate about the nitty-gritty details of email fundraising, are known for your attention to detail, and have a knack for spotting the smallest of errors, you will find a great home on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Update email calendar in coordination with Email Director.
  • Manage a team of Digital Associates responsible for producing and checklisting content.
  • Review produced email copy and act as a final check on every email blast.
  • Ensure accurate targeting and audience segmentation on all email sends.
  • Ensure every link is correctly sourced, goes to the correct landing page, and has correct autofill amounts.
  • Be willing to assist in any overflow production needs.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in email marketing for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or firm.
  • Intimate knowledge of every step of the email production process.
  • Exceptional proofing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with email CRMs or online organizing platforms.
  • Experience with ActionKit is a bonus but not a requirement.
The annualized salary range for this role is $90,000-$100,000.

This position requires in-person work at DSCC headquarters in Washington, DC.
