Voter Access Associate for Ballot Cure

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is seeking applications for Voter Access Associates for Ballot Cure to support Voter Access Directors in key states on ballot cure. About the Opportunity
DSCC Ballot Cure Associates will help to ensure that every eligible voter has their ballot counted and the election is certified in November. Ballot Cure Associates will implement volunteer organizing and voter contact efforts to reach supporters whose ballots have been rejected. Ballot Cure Associates will report directly to a Deputy Voter Access Director and work closely with the coordinated campaign Voter Access Team and other departments to implement ballot cure programming.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the Deputy Voter Access Director to implement the plan for ballot cure outreach
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of state-specific voting laws and issues related to ballot cure
  • Maintain training and voter education resources for ballot curing, and lead the trainings for staff, volunteers, and voters
  • Recruit and engage voter access volunteers in the implementation of the post election program plan
Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
  • One cycle of campaign experience on a campaign or advocacy organization is preferred but not required
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, highly-developed organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of our organization
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and take a solutions oriented approach to unique problems
  • Familiarity with Voter Access tools, such as LBJ and VAN, preferred
Salary
The salary for this role is $66,000 annually, directly through the DSCC.
Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered to all employees.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

This is a cycle role based in a battleground state.
