Graphicacy, a mission-driven data visualization and design studio, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to own and drive growth across our client portfolio. This role is built for a strategic relationship-builder with 5+ years of agency sales or account management experience who can independently identify opportunities, close new business, and deepen partnerships. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about data visualization, visual storytelling, and digital strategy to join a nimble, creative team and grow within a company that values impact and innovation.About the Role: You’ll report to Graphicacy’s Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director and lead business development end-to-end: prospecting and pipeline strategy through proposal development and close. You’ll own a revenue target, manage a book of business, and work directly with leadership to shape how we grow. Business Development & Sales: • Own and drive the full sales cycle (prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, negotiation, close). • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies. • Build and maintain a robust pipeline with visibility into stages and forecast. • Lead re-engagement with past clients and expansion within existing accounts. • Collaborate with leadership on revenue goals and go-to-market strategy. Account Management & Client Partnerships: • Anticipate client needs and proactively surface opportunities; coordinate closely with project management and operations. Sales Operations & Strategy: • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy. • Develop and iterate on proposals, scopes, and sales collateral. • Contribute to pricing strategy and deal structuring. • Report weekly on pipeline health, metrics, and priorities.About You: • 5+ years in sales, business development, or account management at a creative agency/digital studio/strategic communications firm. • Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets. • Strong instincts for qualifying opportunities and moving deals forward. • Skilled at navigating complex organizations and building relationships. • Deep interest in data visualization/digital storytelling/design, ideally selling creative or technical services. • Comfortable in a lean, remote environment with autonomy and accountability. • Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management required; proposal development and contract negotiation a plus.About Us: Graphicacy is a mission-driven data visualization and design studio in Washington, DC, with team members in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. This opportunity is a remote position.
