Graphicacy, a mission-driven data visualization and design studio, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to own and drive growth across our client portfolio. This role is built for a strategic relationship-builder with 5+ years of agency sales or account management experience who can independently identify opportunities, close new business, and deepen partnerships.About the Role:You’ll report to Graphicacy’s Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director and lead business development end-to-end, from prospecting and pipeline strategy to proposal development and close. You’ll own a revenue target, manage a book of business, and work directly with leadership to shape how we grow.Business Development & Sales:- Own and drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close.- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to win new clients.- Build and maintain a robust pipeline with visibility into stages, forecast, and revenue potential.- Lead re-engagement with past clients and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.- Collaborate with leadership to set revenue goals and refine go-to-market strategy.Account Management & Client Partnerships:- Anticipate client needs and proactively surface new engagement opportunities; ensure seamless handoff between sales and project delivery.Sales Operations & Strategy:- Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy; develop proposals and sales collateral; contribute to pricing strategy and deal structuring; report weekly on pipeline health and key metrics.About You:- 5+ years in sales, business development, or account management at a creative agency/digital studio/strategic communications firm.- Track record of exceeding revenue targets; strong instincts for qualifying opportunities and moving deals forward.- Skilled at navigating complex organizations and building relationships across levels.- Deep interest in data visualization, digital storytelling, or design; comfortable working autonomously in a lean, remote environment.- Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management required; familiarity with proposal development and contract negotiation is a plus.About Us and Benefits:Graphicacy is a mission-driven data visualization and design studio in Washington, DC, with team members in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. This opportunity is a remote position. Full-time, fully remote with a salary range of $85,000–$110,000 base and OTE of $110,000–$125,000, plus medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement plan with employer matching, generous PTO, flexible policies, and a collaborative team.
