Liftoff is seeking a talented Advertising Manager to join a new and growing team.

Liftoff is a unique digital fundraising and communications firm. Our clients are statewide and local political campaigns, advocates, non-profits, and changemaking companies working to advance Democratic priorities.

Our ideal candidate has a track record of working collaboratively with colleagues, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines for multiple projects. We value individuals who are comfortable admitting what they don’t know, are excited to learn new skills, and who work hard to overcome obstacles.

While this job is fully remote, location in or near Washington, D.C. is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving clients’ fundraising and engagement goals;
  • Providing top-quality customer service to clients, including regular reporting and communication.
  • Producing recommendations, and providing insights across teams and to clients.
  • Oversee ad campaigns in platforms such as Facebook, X (fka Twitter), Google ads, and the Yahoo! DSP platform to ensure consistent results.
  • Advertising pixel management and troubleshooting.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to improve all client results in the advertising and acquisition funnel.
  • Advise clients on industry best practices and emerging strategies.
  • Cross-team collaboration on media planning and strategy.
  • Lead media planning efforts for clients.
  • Help manage vendor relationships.

Experience we look for:

  • Passion for good causes, whether candidates or other;
  • 4-6 years of work experience with at least 1 year of experience in a dedicated political or non-profit fundraising role;
  • 3-5 years of experience using Meta, X, and Google ads platforms, and Yahoo! DSP or similar programmatic platform;
  • 3-5 years of media planning experience and campaign optimization;
  • 2-4 years of experience managing direct reports;
  • Experienced with manipulating data sets in Excel, bonus points for R, Python, etc.;
  • Up-to-date and ongoing knowledge of best practices and industry trends;
  • Experience working at an agency; working with or at non-profits or political/issue campaigns;
  • Understanding of long-term lead performance tracking;
  • Experience building and executing project plans to achieve fundraising and communications goals;
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Excellent quantitative reasoning skills and ability to apply data to strategic decisions.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000
