When you come work with us, here’s what you’ll find:
- Work that is meaningful. We are a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting firm that only works with nonprofit clients who are essential to advancing the cause of justice, alleviating suffering, and solving the greatest challenges we face.
- Commitment to Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion (AEI). We envision an anti-oppressive workplace that ensures an inclusive employee experience, promotes equitable outcomes for staff, and supports clients to center accessibility and anti-racism in their programs.

- Partner with senior leadership and the Union Executive Committee to identify, implement, and oversee the execution of ongoing labor relations strategies and tactics, including collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration procedures, risk mitigation, and compliance.
- Partner with M+R’s AEI Area to create alignment between human resources policies and procedures and the organization’s AEI priorities and strategies.
- Develop strategy, manage and support implementation, and oversee administration of the firm’s benefits programs, lead the ongoing evaluation of benefit plans and recommend cost-effective changes to plan design and renewals to ensure M+R maintains a progressive and competitive benefits program.
- Lead the firm’s compensation programs to evaluate and develop strong total compensation plans to attract, retain, and engage new and existing employees; serve as a member of the Compensation Committee providing input and strategy on complex compensation structures.
- Serve as a member of M+R’s Leadership Council and participate on multiple committees to provide input on the firm’s plans and programs as a strategic partner from the perspective of the impact on people.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law; review and ensure policies and practices are implemented or updated to maintain compliance.
- Oversee performance management strategies to ensure the process of maintaining or improving employee job performance, coaching, and counseling, as well as providing continuous feedback to ensure the process is effective and efficient.
